Walking Football is back!
Walking football will be returning to Station Sports Centre’s programme from 3rd July. The game offers a sport as mental as it is physical. Stifling the urge to run is the early challenge for participants, whilst passing has to be completed with pinpoint accuracy to have any chance of success.

GIST Walkathon was a huge success
Many thanks to everyone who joined in or supported the GIST Walkathon last month. Issie has estimated approx. £1800 sponsorship money to come in, all of which will be donated to this very deserving cause. We are sure that this will help to make a real difference to everyone affected by the condition.

Competitive Swim Clinic
Join us for a professional swim clinic on 30th July. This 1 day clinic will give you everything you need, including video analysis and nutrition advice, to help you to get ahead in competitive swimming. This is suitable for anyone who is nearing the end of their Waterwise lessons or who needs an extra hand to progress in competitive swimming.
Aqua Vita cafe will be closed for refurbishment between 17th – 21st July.

Outdoor pool to be open for longer
From 3rd July, we will be increasing the opening hours of our outdoor pool. We will be running 3 sessions 9am-12pm, 12.30-3.30pm and 4-7pm. As ever, the outdoor pool is very popular so please do call us to book in advance.

Expect dances such as the ‘Quickstep’, ‘Samba’, ‘Rhumba’, ‘Pasodoble’, ’Argentine Tango’ and of course …his signature dance – the ‘Jive’.
