Spooktacular Half Term Activities

/ Culture

Half-term Halloween events are being planned as part of a whole host of activities at two popular Louth leisure venues.

At Meridian Leisure Centre full activity days will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, October 23, 24 and 25 with early drop-offs, from 8am, and late pick- ups, until 6pm, available.

Taken by trained and fully-qualified sports and play staff, the sessions include swimming (for over eights), sports and games and are available for children aged from four to 11-years. Lunch, snacks and drinks must be provided for the children. For more information on pricings, consent forms and to book please contact the centre on 01507 607650.

Meanwhile Friday, October 26, will see the spooks out and about at Meridian for a fancy-dress Halloween Disco. Under 4s, accompanied by adults, are welcome from 4.30pm until 5.30pm with four to eight-year-olds from 6pm until 7pm. The cost is £5 per child.

And on Saturday 27, our Slime workshops are back by popular demand. Available for children aged from four to 11-years. Workshops are either 1pm or 2pm. This costs just £10 per child, and places must be booked.

Over at London Road Pavilion, which is also run by the Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure and Culture, two Halloween Craft Workshops are being run on Monday, October 22. Costing £10 per child, they are for three to nine-year-olds (under fours must be accompanied by an adult) and run from 10am until noon and 1pm until 3pm.
